This week things have been easier, I think I am finally over all the jet lag. We have been watching movies and Scrubs, playing boccie, running, bike riding, and hiking. Not to mention the cooking class we have is AWESOME. We make the best desserts (pears baked in wine, chocolate mouse, and baked apples with cinnamon sugar and caramel on top). We have had meetings with Margaret, a sweet English lady down the road, who has been helping us with our singing and we are going to sing in the church choir on Sundays. This week the power and water were not working because of a terrible storm. We spent two nights in a hotel but we made the best of it and it didn't end up being too bad. I am really excited to be with the people I am because no matter what happens, everyone just deals with whatever comes our way. A group of us decided that for spring break we are going to England for 5 days then Rome for seven. We are staying in a hostile called The Clink in London, which is a remodeled jail. For Rome, we rented two apartments so we have somewhere to cook and don't have to go out every night. We got a really great deal and I am so excited to be going, but that's not until March...
